Zarieyel

I made this game for my Mobile Game Development class. At the time I had never really played mobile games much, because the phone itself seemed like such a clunky input device. With that in mind, I thought about how I could make a game for a phone which had really smooth, intuitive, and simple controls. Zarieyel is a 2-button endless runner. The screen is invisibly split, with each half being its own button, allowing the player to tap wherever they like without having obtrusive UI blocking the screen, and the end result works just as good as I was hoping it would. The game is all animated in 3D and then rendered using an orthographic camera to feel 2D.
